Eftihia and Chris have a deep admiration for Greece. Eftihia’s family share their home island of Kos with Greek philosopher Hippocrates who famously said Let food be thy medicine and let medicine be thy food, which became the foundation for Arma’s values.
Eftihia’s Greek roots gave her a strong understanding of how to use natural resources to heal the body. When she and Chris met, he quickly grew to appreciate this wealth of knowledge resulting in the couple gifting Greek thyme honey to their wedding guests in 2015. Eftihia’s name means happiness in Greek, which is a feeling they want to emulate through their honey. They take inspiration from Greece as a unified place and believe in the culture centered around family, food, and nature.
